You can not look at yourself at the exact way you want to while you paint, full awareness when perceiving is diminished when not in one state. You focus more on the light reflected on your eyes, thinking if an orange hue is really there, but you are not painting because you are being aware. You need to double check the orange hue but you forget to also match the hue beside it where it is darker, so you look back to the mirror but you need to keep painting. Consciousness is everywhere, it is in that in - between as you shift experiences from the mirror and the canvas. To deny such sacred existence that if not for it, we would not even be aware of this vastness.
